The Challenge
Surya Textiles, one of Gujarat's largest textile processing units, faced a critical CGWA compliance deadline. The plant was extracting over 2,000 KLD of groundwater without a valid NOC, metering infrastructure or any recharge provisions — all mandatory under CGWA regulations.
The company had also received a show-cause notice, adding urgency to the situation. They needed an experienced partner who could rapidly assess the situation and deliver full compliance within a tight timeline.
Our Solution
Our team conducted a comprehensive water audit within 2 weeks, identifying significant inefficiencies in the dyeing and washing processes. We simultaneously prepared the CGWA NOC application documentation and designed a rooftop rainwater harvesting and percolation pit recharge system.
Through our direct regulatory experience and relationships, we facilitated expedited processing of the NOC application while implementing compliance measures in parallel. The full engagement took 4 months from commencement to NOC receipt.
