The Sanctuary Behind The Promise
A registered private cow sanctuary built on ownership, transparency and Vedic values — not on appeals for charity.
From A Single Rescued Gir Cow To 60 Acres
Cow Town Sanctuary Ltd. began with one question: why must protecting the cow always depend on donations that run out? In 2019, with a single rescued Gir cow and four acres of leased land, we set out to prove that a gaushala could stand on its own economics.
Today the sanctuary spans 60 acres and cares for more than 1,240 cows — each one owned or sponsored by a family who receives her dairy benefits, her health records and her story. Every rupee that sustains this place comes from ownership, dairy, organic farming, tourism and wellness. Not from a donation box.
What We Are Building
Our Vision
A India where every Hindu family honours a cow they actually own — where cow protection is a living, self-funding relationship rather than a seasonal act of charity.
Our Mission
To build India's first fully self-sustainable private cow sanctuary — funded by ownership, dairy, organic farming, tourism and wellness — and to give every owner complete transparency over the cow in their name.
Transparency
Health records, milk yield and revenue statements visible in your dashboard.
Compassion
No cow is ever sold for slaughter. Old and rescued cows are cared for until natural death.
Self-Sustainability
Every activity on the land feeds the next — dung to fertilizer, fertilizer to crops, crops to feed.
Vedic Rooting
Panchgavya, Gau Puja and festival traditions are practised, not merely referenced.
“We Don't Ask For Donations. We Ask You To Become An Owner.”
For decades the gaushala model has asked the same thing of people: give, and give again. It works until the giving stops. We wanted something that could not stop — a model where protecting a cow makes economic sense for the family protecting her.
When you own a cow at Cow Town, she carries your name. You receive her ghee, her health updates, her photographs. Your children learn where milk actually comes from. And the sanctuary earns what it needs to feed the next 1,000 cows.
