Backpacker Tours began in 2017 as a handful of friends organising weekend trips out of Delhi so their own circle wouldn't have to deal with unreliable operators. Nine years on, the format hasn't changed much — small groups, a captain who's actually driven the route, and a price that doesn't hide anything in the fine print.
What has changed is scale: from one Himachal weekend batch to fixed departures across the Himalayas, the Northeast, the islands and a growing list of international routes — all still run in-house, end to end.
