Planning a trip to Ladakh
Ladakh is not a place you rush. Every itinerary we run has an acclimatisation day built into the front of it, because the difference between a good trip and a miserable one here is almost entirely about how you spend the first 48 hours.
Our batches fly into Leh, sit still for a day, then work outward — Nubra over Khardung La, Pangong by the Shyok road, and for the longer trips, Hanle and Umling La. Every vehicle carries oxygen and every captain is first-aid trained.
