Trees That Work for Farmers
CG Foundation's agroforestry programme integrates carefully selected tree species into cotton farming systems — as boundary plantings, windbreaks, shade trees and intercropped timber or fruit species.
Trees are selected for their compatibility with cotton growing, their local market value and their carbon sequestration capacity — ensuring farmers receive both immediate and long-term financial returns from tree integration.
