How We Build Farmer Capability

Farmer Field Schools

Seasonal, experiential learning groups of 20–30 farmers guided by trained facilitators, focused on hands-on problem solving in the field.

Digital Learning

Mobile-first learning modules delivering agronomy, market and financial content in local languages via SMS, WhatsApp and our farmer app.

Facilitator Training

A two-tier cascade training model that builds the capacity of 4,000+ field facilitators who in turn train and support enrolled farmers.

Women-Centred Learning

Dedicated women's farmer groups and female-led field schools ensuring women receive equal access to training and leadership opportunities.

Demonstration Plots

On-farm demonstration plots showing side-by-side comparisons of standard versus sustainable practices — the most effective behaviour change tool.

Peer-to-Peer Learning

Farmer-to-farmer knowledge exchange through lead farmer networks, cross-district exposure visits and WhatsApp farmer communities.
